About the Journal
Horizontes Transversales is a multidisciplinary, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to disseminating original research that addresses the challenges of contemporary society from a cross-cutting perspective. The journal brings together five fields of knowledge: social sciences and humanities; health, psychology and well-being; economics, management and innovation; law, public policy and governance; and science, technology and digital transformation. Its purpose is to build bridges between disciplines to produce rigorous knowledge that informs decision-making, public and private management, and people's well-being in Ecuador, Latin America and internationally.
